Dioptres (D/dpt./PWR)
Power refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Details of Acuvue 2 (6 lenses)
Acuvue 2 from Johnson & Johnson are one of the most popular contact lenses. These two-week disposable daily contact lenses are lightly tinted blue so they can be inserted with no problems every time – it’s as easy as 1–2–3!
The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation. However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays.
Acuvue 2 contact lenses have been discontinued. The only versions available are the ones currently in stock. Users of Acuvue 2 contacts can start using the new Lenjoy Bi-weekly Aqua+ lenses. Due to the different parameters, we recommend consulting an ophthalmologist about the new contact lenses.

why have Johnson and Johnson discontinued this product i have been wearing them for 26 years and no problem . there new product does not suit me
