Dioptres (D/dpt./PWR)
Power refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Miru 1 month Multifocal are monthly multifocal contact lenses for the correction of presbyopia.They are made of a silicone-hydrogel material. They provide a sharp vision at all distances due to the combinations of optic zones that flow smoothly into one another.
Miru 1 month Multifocal contacts are designed for daily wear with a monthly exchange period, and they are specifically designed to reduce dry eye syndrome. Their name is derived from the Japanese word miru – “to see”. The lenses have a transparent dye shade to help make the handling easier.

Miru multifocal contact lenses are available with LOW and HIGH additions. The manufacturer recommends LOW for users with addition from +0.75 to +1.75, and HIGH for users with addition from +2.00 and on.
